TASHKENT, JUNE 18 — Tunland V9 officially arrives in Uzbekistan: sales begin, first impressions
The next-generation flagship pickup has reached Tashkent. Here is how the V9 differs from everything else in the segment — and why test drives are booked a month ahead.

The first Tunland V9 units reached the distributor's warehouse in late May, and on 18 June the pickup officially went on display in Tashkent, Samarkand and Fergana showrooms. The launch batch is 120 vehicles in two trim levels; more than half were reserved by corporate pre-orders before sales even opened.
A new-generation platform
The V9 is built on the new Tunland architecture with an integrated frame and a multi-link rear suspension — still a rarity in the segment. Under the bonnet, a 2.0-litre turbodiesel is paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic; four-wheel drive with a low-range gearbox is standard. Payload figures stay working-grade: over a tonne in the bed and 3.5 tonnes on the hook.

The test-drive queue
In the first week dealers logged more than 400 test-drive requests — the schedule is now booked a month ahead. Corporate fleets get priority: for them, dedicated sessions run with a loaded bed and a trailer attached, so the truck is judged in a real working scenario rather than on an empty road.
«We deliberately didn't rush the launch. The V9 is a truck people buy after seeing the numbers: consumption, service intervals, cost of ownership. So the first thing a client gets on a test drive is a spreadsheet, not a brochure.»
